Home of JavaScript Centrality and ColorMatch 2 plus. This is the personal webspace of Andrew Kimoto.

Here you will find information about JavaScript and CSS (including a number of JavaScript code and CSS style examples), a listing of my past and current web projects, and some of the web tools that I have created or modified.

Lately I have been trying out some of the CSS3 style properties. Examples are available in the CSS Studio.

My latest creation is an Online Japanese Kanji Dictionary. This one-page web application uses a combination of MySQL, PHP, JSON, and jQuery. Kanji lookups can be performed by radical, stroke count, reading, and via a direct lookup interface.

Another creation of mine is ColorMatch 2 plus, a color scheme creation tool based on the venerable ColorMatch 5K. To the original application I have added:

• Additional sliders for Hue, Saturation, and Value (HSV)
• A larger number of color-scheme matches (9 rather than 6)
• Support for hexadecimal input
• Multiple different color schemes, such as complementary tones,split complement and triadic
• Closest Match lookups for Pantone®, Kelly-Moore Paints™, and Dunn-Edwards Paints™

I am still working on finishing my JavaScript language reference.

Here is a summary of the content of this site:

• JavaScript Centrality: Links to my JavaScript language reference and collection of some objects and functions that I have developed. The language reference is a work in progress and continues to expand whenever I have free time.
• CSS Studio: Contains a collection of some styles that I have designed.
• Tools: Links to a page listing some of my web tools, including ColorMatch 2 plus and my Online Japanese Kanji Dictionary.
• Projects: Links to a page listing some of my web and design projects.
• Links: Contain a collection of various links of interest. My links page uses MySQL to hold the menu items and relationships, PHP to build the page, and JavaScript + CSS to show/hide the menu items.
